Addressing Problems of Thinking, Feeling and Doing
My approach to psychiatric care is to spend time with patient and family, form mutually understood diagnostic thinking to then treating the problems presented.
Treatment is hourly sessions; between session contact as needed, medication is used when indicated (however, there are no short, "med check" sessions).
Problems areas include our most common, human ones:
- Anxiety,
- Depression,
- Behavior difficulties,
- Unsatisfactory school and life accomplishments,
- ADHD,
- Emotional Problems in Persons with Intellectual Disabilities.
In sum: problems of Feeling, Thinking and Doing.
